The song "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke and Pharell has been reported and sued 8 million dollars for plagarism as Marvin Gayes children believe that it is copied off a song their father wrote and sung. Make a comment on what you think? The outcome? What is your opinion about these issues/ people involved? The impact it has on us.

  1. I do agree that the two songs sound very alike. Maybe Robin Thicke got inspiration from that song but I think it was plagiarism and he should by fined the 8 million dollars.

  3. I completely disagree the songs sound very different but the beats are the same. i do think he should get fined but not to that extent.i think a 10000 dollar fine would much better suit the case. the people who are suing him are just hungry for money

  6. I disagree to me they don't sound anything alike except for the beat and that's it. But 8 million dollars? Isn't that a bit too much.

  7. the beats are just the slightest bit the same and the fine should be dropped there just looking for away to get more money.

  8. I disagree. yes the beats do sort of sound the same but theres no reason for them to fine them. I play the guitar and my teacher says theres millions of songs with same beat and tunes, butt they don't all get fined so why should they?

  9. I think the beats sound a little bit similar but the family might be sueing because if they win in court they will get quite a bit of money.

  11. I disagree because i think that the song isnt that bad nor are the lyrics and if they were to get sued it should only be under 1000- dollars because i think that $8000 dollars is way to much for a song they didnt copy

  14. I agree, because the beat and the way they sing the song is completely the same as the original song, the lyrics aren't the same but the beat is.
